I decided to go back to blogging well after it died out in the 2010’s. The world was a much better place back during the blog era imo. We were more intentional, seeking out music and connections that spoke to us instead of a tech bro’s (or worse) algorithm deciding for us. Having to flesh out our ideas instead of writing short captions, photos not being compressed to hell, etc. I know this is the equivalent of a middle aged guy complaining about how things were better 10-30 years ago, but I mean, can anyone argue against that in this day and age?

Anywho, my life is pretty chill so this will be more of a showcase of photos with the occasional thinkpiece. I live in Seattle so most of what I see and talk about will obvisouly be about Seattle and the greater PNW. Occasional travel (still burnt out from 2025!), tons of food and bars. Just life for an older millennial in 2026 an beyond. Everything is completely written by me, no AI whatsoever.

Anywho, with everything going on in the world, I’m very happy to call Seattle home. No place is perfect, but this is just about as perfect as it gets for my sensibilities. Here’s a couple pics from the past few days. In my next blog I’ll talk about how I tried to be a nomad last year but Seattle pulled me back in.
